Natars FAQ
Answers to the most common questions about Natars: is it free, how to register, which tribe to pick, does it work on phones, and what happens at the end of a round.
Is Natars free?
Yes. Registering and playing are completely free. There is optional gold that speeds some things up and adds conveniences, and you can earn some of it for free from quests and medals. Read the chapter on gold.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Natars runs in the browser on computers, phones and tablets. You can add it to your phone's home screen to open it like an app.
How do I register?
Pick a world from the world list and press "Register", then choose a name, a password and a tribe. It takes a minute.
Which tribe should I pick?
If this is your first game, the Gauls are the easiest start with their strong defence and speed. The Teutons suit raiders, the Romans are balanced but their troops cost more, and the Arabs are strong in attack and trade but expensive. Every tribe has a full guide on the tribes page.
Does my village keep going when I log out?
Yes. The world runs all the time: your fields produce, builds and training finish on time, and armies move. But your neighbours can attack you while you are away too, so keep a big enough Cranny and a fitting defence.
What is a world, and can I play more than one?
A world is a separate game with its own map, players and round; its name is in its address (such as s1.natars.com). You can play several worlds, with a separate account on each.
What does a world's speed mean?
Speed multiplies resource production and shortens building and training times, while armies and merchants move at a speed of their own. Costs and storage stay the same. On a faster world you progress faster and the round ends sooner; a slower world is calmer and suits players with less time.
Can anyone attack me at the start?
Not during beginner's protection, whose length depends on the world. But it ends at once if you send an army to another player's village yourself. After it ends you can be attacked, so build a Cranny early and join an alliance. Details in the chapter on getting started.
How does a round end?
It ends when the first World Wonder reaches level 100, and its owner and their alliance win. Then a new world starts and everyone begins again. Read the details in the chapter on the end of the round.
Can I have more than one account on a world?
No. One account per player on each world, and cheating gets an account banned. The details are in the game rules.
I forgot my password. What now?
Press "Password forgotten?" on the login page of the world you play, and you will get an email. If it does not arrive, contact support from inside the game.
