The Egyptians are a defensive, economic tribe. The Armed Slave is the cheapest unit in the game, the Temple Guardian and the Royal Chariot hold against the strongest attacks, and the Waterworks raises their oases' bonus.
Attack Defence Speed Easy start
Strengths
- Strong, cheap defence; the Armed Slave trains very fast.
- The Waterworks raises the bonus of every oasis the village holds.
- Their merchants carry 750.
Weaknesses
- Their attack is weak, so growing by force is harder.
- Their merchants are fairly slow: 16 fields an hour.
Their own buildings
- Stone Wall: the Egyptians' wall, one of the walls with the highest bonus.
- Waterworks: needs a Hero's Mansion at level 10. It raises the village's oasis bonuses.
Troops
These are the Egyptians' ten troops as the game has them, each with what it is for:
| Unit | Attack | Def. vs infantry | Def. vs cavalry | Speed (fields/h) | Carry | Crop upkeep |

The Nomarch and conquest
The Nomarch is the Egyptians' administrator. Every Nomarch that arrives in a normal attack and survives lowers loyalty by 20 to 25. Details in the chapter on your second village.
Who they suit
Players who like building a strong economy and protecting their allies.
Tips for the start
- Armed Slaves protect you cheaply in the first weeks.
- Build the Hero's Mansion and take crop oases, then the Waterworks.
